Web design & builds

Work with me.

By day I'm a systems engineer. Evenings and weekends I build websites, mostly for people who care how things look and whether they'll still work in three years. It's a one-person shop, so the person you email is the person writing the code.

WHAT I BUILD01

Sites that load before you blink

  • Personal sites, portfolios and blogs
  • Small business sites that need to look sharp and stay put
  • One-page sites that do one job well
  • WordPress sites: new builds, cleanups, or a move to something lighter
WHAT YOU GET02

Yours, and easy to live with

  • A fast site: static when that fits, WordPress when you really need it
  • A simple way to change your own words and photos
  • Your domain and your code stay in your name. If we ever part ways, you leave with a full copy.
  • Backups, plus cheap, boring, reliable hosting
HOW IT GOES03

Short and straightforward

  1. You write a few lines about what you have and what you want.
  2. We talk it through. I work from a checklist so nothing important slips.
  3. I build it on a staging copy you can poke at, and I fix what bugs you.
  4. It goes live, and I show you how to update it. The whole path is in from kickoff to launch.

No budget brackets and no questionnaire before you're allowed to talk to me. A few lines is plenty, and I'll write back myself.
