Sausage Smash Croissant
Ingredients:
- Ground sausage
- 2 eggs, scrambled
- American cheese
- 2 croissants, sliced
- Salt and pepper
- Chipotle mayo
Directions:
- Heat griddle to 350 degrees. Add a small amount of oil.
- Form sausage into loosely packed 3 oz. balls.
- Smash sausage balls into the griddle as thin as possible. Cook for 4 minutes per side or until 155 degrees.
- Butter and toast croissants on the griddle, about 2 minutes.
- Turn off heat and pour scrambled eggs on the griddle. Move them around with a spatula until they reach the desired consistency.
- Assemble the sandwich with egg, cheese, sausage, and chipotle mayo. Enjoy!
