Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 30 oz. frozen shredded hash browns
  • 8 oz. melted butter
  • 10 oz. can cream of chicken
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Colby cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Pull out the hashbrowns and let them defrost a bit in a colander.
  3. Melt the butter, and then mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Reserve about 1/4 of the cheese to put on top.
  4. Spread all the ingredients into a greased 9×13 pan.
  5. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes to an hour or until golden brown.
  6. For a real treat, save the leftovers and throw them on the griddle next time you make breakfast.
