BLT & E Sandwich (B.E.L.T.)
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of Texas toast
- 2 strips of thick-cut bacon
- Leaf lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
- 1 egg
- 1 slice of American cheese
- Mayo, lots of it
- Everything bagel seasoning
Directions:
- Preheat griddle to 375 degrees.
- Place down thick-cut bacon while the griddle preheats.
- Flip bacon every few minutes until it is cooked all the way through, then place it on your cooling rack.
- Put down some oil, then add the egg, and pop the yolk.
- Flip the egg and cook the other side until it is fried all the way through. Top the egg with your cheese after you flip it so the heat melts the cheese.
- Spread mayo on each piece of Texas toast, then place them on the front of your griddle or whatever area is your coolest zone, mayo side down. We are using mayo instead of butter to toast the bread.
- Once the bread is toasted, put it on your cooling rack or remove it from the griddle.
- Add mayo to your toasted bread, then sprinkle it with some everything bagel seasoning.
- Add bacon, lettuce, and tomato, then top with your other piece of Texas toast and enjoy! It goes great with a Bloody Mary.
