Biscuits & Gravy
Ingredients:
- 1 package of country gravy mix
- 1/2 lbs. breakfast sausage
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
- Heat griddle to 375 degrees. Squirt down a little bit of oil, then place the sausage on the griddle.
- Chop up the sausage and let it cook until it’s no longer pink.
- Open the biscuits and place them on a small wire rack. Place a dome over the rack and let the biscuits cook for about 4 minutes per side.
- Once the sausage is cooked, make a well in the middle of the meat and place the butter inside the well.
- As the butter melts, sprinkle the flour on top of the butter and cooked sausage.
- Once combined and the flour has attached to the meat, move everything to a foil pan and add milk.
- Add Worcestershire sauce to the milk and sausage mixture, and let it cook on the griddle, whisking occasionally. The flour will cook out, and the gravy will thicken after about 15 minutes.
- While the gravy thickens, finish cooking the biscuits, then put down some eggs on the griddle. Always cook eggs last and ensure the griddle is around 325 degrees.
